1. Service Agreement
By engaging the services of Eco Junk, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein. This Service Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between the customer and Eco Junk, a junk removal company operating in accordance with the laws of British Columbia.
2. Scope of Services
Eco Junk provides professional junk removal services to residential and commercial clients. The scope of services includes the removal and disposal of unwanted items in an environmentally responsible manner. It is understood that Eco Junk will make reasonable efforts to recycle or donate salvageable items whenever possible.
3. Pricing and Payment
The pricing for Eco Junk's services is based on factors such as the volume and type of items to be removed. The customer agrees to pay the agreed-upon amount for services rendered. Payment is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise specified in writing. Eco Junk reserves the right to charge additional fees for services not included in the initial agreement.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments by providing a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a cancellation fee. Eco Junk reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions or equipment malfunctions.
5. Liability
While Eco Junk exercises utmost care during the removal process, the customer acknowledges that certain risks are inherent in the junk removal industry. Eco Junk is not liable for any damages to property that may occur during the removal process, except in cases of proven negligence on the part of Eco Junk.
6. Environmental Responsibility
Eco Junk is committed to environmentally responsible practices. However, the customer acknowledges that not all items may be suitable for recycling or donation. Hazardous materials, as defined by local regulations, will not be accepted. The customer is responsible for accurately identifying and disclosing the nature of the items to be removed.
7. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold Eco Junk harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of the customer's failure to comply with these terms and conditions or any applicable laws.
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the province of British Columbia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre.
Modification of Terms
Eco Junk reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes, and continued use of Eco Junk's services implies acceptance of the modified terms.
